Meet Christy
I’m a mom of three and have been married to a Bremerton Firefighter for 17 years. Like a lot of working families in Bremerton, my life is full—school schedules, work meetings, dinner around the table every night so we can make it to the pool by 5:30 for swim team. I know what it’s like to juggle priorities, and I think that perspective is missing on our City Council.
That’s why I’m running. We need more voices from everyday working parents—people who are in it, living it, and care deeply about the future of our city without chasing politics or personal gain. I want to be that voice.
Professionally, I’ve spent the last 18 years working in legal and financial roles at the state level. My background is in budgeting and long-term financial planning—basically making sure big systems stay stable and funded. That work has taught me how to solve problems, how to navigate complex rules and regulations, and how to get things done even when the process isn’t easy.
